TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE: "Survivor II: The Australian Outback" (7 p.m.) and "Survivor: The Outback Reunion" (9 p.m.), CBS. The second finale differs from last year's: There are three people (not four) left and the votes haven't been counted. Somewhere in the first hour, the three will have a final immunity challenge. The winner can choose which person is ousted; that leaves two survivors for the face-off. During that final hour, we'll see them plead their case. We'll see the jury the seven people who were ousted just before them ask questions or make statements, then cast votes. All of that was taped months ago. Then the show cuts to live, when the votes are finally counted. Afterward, Bryant Gumbel chats with all 16 of the original "Outback" contestants.
"Friends," 7 p.m., and 7:30 p.m., NBC. Amid the "Survivor" tumult, one thing is almost overlooked: TV's best comedy show is getting close to the wedding of two of its main characters. Tonight, "Friends" pauses briefly. First, a semi-new episode has Monica and Chandler pondering their vows; that allows lots of clips of old shows. Then a rerun has Joey getting a quickie ordination, so he can officiate at the wedding.
"Will and Grace," 8 p.m., NBC. There's trouble when Grace goes to a funeral and Jack goes to an awards show.
"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. Here's the middle of the new Sally Field trilogy. Tonight, Maggie (Field), the bipolar mother of Abby (Maura Tierney), testifies in court.
