Just have a baby or expecting one? If so, you'll find plenty of products and services tailored for you at the New Baby Expo 2001, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. next Sunday at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

Among the attractions are some of the latest child and maternity products, some of which will be available in Hawai'i exclusively at the expo.

Parents and children can take photos with Clifford the Big Red Dog and Arthur, the aardvark, two famous storybook and TV cartoon characters, in costume, as well as the "real" D.W. — Arthur's little sister on the No. 1 rated PBS show "Arthur". Kim Croissant, sister of "Arthur" creator Marc Brown, was the inspiration for the character, D.W.

There will also be continuous infant- and child-CPR classes by the American Heart Association; face-painting by Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii; a baby crawling contest 1-3 p.m. next Sunday, and much more.

Admission is $3.50 per person; free for children 5 and under. For more information, visit www.newbabyexpo.com, or call 239-2229 (239-BABY).
