MUST-SEE: "The West Wing" and "Law and Order," 8 and 9 p.m., NBC. First, TV's best drama series wraps up its season. The president is ready to tell the public that he has been covering up his health problems for eight years. There are other things to worry about, including an embassy takeover in Haiti, a job offer for Toby and the ongoing battle with tobacco companies. Then "Law and Order" offers an hour that ends with an emotional kick. The story involves a school shooting. Guest stars include Carey Lowell as Jamie Ross, the former prosecutor now a defense lawyer. The final minutes provide a punch that makes this worth catching.

MIGHT-SEE: "Conquistadors," 8 p.m., PBS, conclusion. In the 16th century, two Spaniards — friends since boyhood—began seeking the golden land of El Dorado, somewhere in South America. As they sputtered, one, Pascual del Almagro, said he would take 55 men and proceed downstream to find food. He never returned. While his friend trudged through hellish conditions, del Almagro became the first European to cover the awesome length of the Amazon river. Was he a deserter — or a mere mortal who had no way to get back upstream?

"Ed," 7 p.m., NBC. Ed advises Warren to ask his secret love for a date to the prom. Naturally, this creates trouble. Meanwhile, it's Vegas Night at the bowling alley.

"Blonde," 8 p.m., CBS. Here is the second half of this miniseries based on a Joyce Carol Oates novel that fictionalized the life of Marilyn Monroe.

"Star Trek: Voyager," 9 p.m., UPN (seen on KFVE). The doctor is only a hologram, but tonight he has a tough job: He must impersonate several crew members to save the ship.
