"Shrek": Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) is a hideous green ogre, so ugly that his own parents can't stand the sight of him. "Widow of St. Pierre": Based on real events that transpired in 19th-century French Canada, "Widow" is the tale of a fisherman sentenced to death for killing a man in a brawl. French law requires death by guillotine, but because the town doesn't have one, he must wait several months for one to arrive from Paris. As the man awaits his fate, he redeems himself by providing valuable services throughout the town, and the townspeople begin to look upon him favorably.
