Evolution Dance this weekend

The Evolution Dance Concert, featuring several Island dance ensembles, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Ronald E. Bright Theatre at Castle High School. The concert was postponed because of the recent teachers' strike. Performers will include 24-7 Danceforce, Castle High School Danceforce, Danceforce Studio and Sabrina Starr Dance. SOS sets tour of Neighbor Islands
For the first time in a decade, the Society of Seven Honolulu, usually seen at the Outrigger Waikiki's Main Showroom, will embark on a Neighbor Island tour after a slate of Mainland engagements. The SOS Las Vegas, a combo based on the original SOS and headed for Las Vegas after a break-in period, currently is in the Outrigger limelight.
The original band will play these dates:
- Big Island: May 25 and 26, 8 p.m., at the Ali'i Ballroom, Outrigger Waikoloa Beach Resort.
- Kaua'i: June 9, 8 p.m., at the Main Ballroom of the Kaua'i Marriott Resort and Beach Club.
- Maui: June 15 and 16, 8 p.m., at the Outrigger Wailea Resort.
Reservations: 1-866-510-0500. The group is winding up a tour of May gigs tomorrow on the Mainland. The group returns May 29 to its Waikiki slot.
