MIGHT-SEE: "Walker, Texas Ranger" finale, 7 p.m., CBS. Paul Haggis summed up "Walker" succinctly: "You can't kill it with a stick." Haggis is known for writing intelligent dramas, from "Due South" to "Family Law." Back in 1993, however, he created this action series for Chuck Norris; the result keeps bringing him checks in the mail. While other shows faded, "Walker" seemed eternal. Norris is finally folding it now, after seven-and-a-half seasons. The finale has Walker (Norris) waiting for his wife (Sheree J. Wilson) to have their baby.
MIGHT-SEE (cable): "Conspiracy," 6 p.m., HBO. On Jan. 20, 1942, 15 men met in an elegant villa near Berlin. They dined well, drank well, exchanged pleasantries; they also agreed on the plan that would lead to the murder of millions of Jews. That afternoon is dramatized here, based on the only surviving copy of the meeting's minutes. Brilliantly directed by Frank Pierson ("Citizen Cohn"), it's both subtle and chilling. Stanley Tucci plays Lt. Col. Adolf Eichmann, who organized the gathering. Kenneth Branagh is Gen. Reinhard Heydrich, who maneuvered its results. Colin Firth ("Bridget Jones's Diary") plays Dr. Wilhelm Stuckart, who argued angrily over the fine points. But only the details were in dispute. On the key topic a Europe without Jews views were unanimous. The rest was worked out at the dinner table.
"Pearl Harbor Eyewitness Story," 7 p.m., NBC. Historical footage and interviews bring the "date that will live in infamy" into this hourlong compilation, narrated by the late Ed Sheehan, which first aired on the Discovery Channel.
"Platoon" (1986), 8 p.m., TNT. Oliver Stone's Academy Award-winner turns the Vietnam War into powerful human drama. Charlie Sheen plays a young soldier torn between two sergeants, (Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe).
