The two-alarm fire at 98-308-D Ualo Place was reported at 2:39 p.m. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control at 2:54.

Fire spokesman Capt. Richard Soo said the fire destroyed the three-bedroom townhouse and also damaged three neighboring units. Most of the damage to the other homes were caused by smoke and water, he said.
