Pamper your dog, 'ER' tops Nielsens
Pamper your dog
Your dog's bad hair days are over. A new day spa for pets called yuppie puppie offers traditional treatments such as bathing and nail clipping, along with massages and aromatherapy. In a new facility with state-of-the-art equipment, yuppie puppie also shows "Lady and the Tramp" or "101 Dalmations" while dogs await their owners in air-conditioned cages.
"It's amazing how this keeps the dogs calm," said store owner Cheryl Lenhart. If dogs must wait an entire day, they will also be treated to an outdoor romp on a leash. "We want to treat the dogs and cats like we would treat any human," Lenhart said. The doggie salon is in Salt Lake Shopping Center. 839-1158.

'ER' tops Nielsens
With TV season officially ending, familiar names dominated the weekly Nielsens top 10 for the period May 14-20: "ER," "Friends," "Law & Order," "West Wing," "Will and Grace," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "CBS Sunday Movie: Like Mother, Like Son," "Everybody Loves Raymond," "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and "Judging Amy."
Season finales of "ER" and "Friends" both drew more than 30 million viewers last week, according to Nielsen Media Research.
On cable, "The Sopranos" season finale on HBO had 9.5 million viewers, beating its two other season-ending episodes in the ratings, but drawing a smaller audience Sunday than for its season premiere in March.
