Ward Center names tenants

Victoria Ward Ltd. announced seven new tenants for the 156,000-square-foot Ward Entertainment Center. The tenants are Gaucho Grill, scheduled to open in the fall, and Starbucks Coffee, L&L Drive-Inn, Quiksilver Youth, The Board Room, Pink C and SRS.

The seven join anchor tenants Dave & Buster's, scheduled to open in the fall, and Consolidated Theatres, which opens today. The other tenants are scheduled to open in August. The $45 million center is more than 90 percent leased. Ward said it has letters of intent with tenants for the remaining four spaces.

The grand opening for the center is scheduled for September.


CB Bancshares' dividends higher

CB Bancshares, Inc., the parent of City Bank, said its cash dividend for the second quarter of 2001 will be 10 percent more than the dividend paid in the first quarter. The company will pay stockholders a 10 percent stock dividend and a cash dividend of 11 cents per common share.
