Third Battalion, Second Regiment O'ahu Volunteer, Infantry Company K, 2nd Lt. 1941. Survived by wife, Patricia; daughters, Merceditas Puhek, Janet Roberson and Anne Wade; a grandson; two granddaughters. DOCK "DICKIE" BOLTON, 56, of Wai'anae, died May 14, 2001. Born in Honolulu. Self-employed maintenance man. JACOB KALUA NAHINU JR., 63, of 'Ewa Beach, died May 6, 2001. Born in Hawai'i. Retired from the Road Division of City and County of Honolulu. Trustee and executive board member of Hawaii Pacific University. President and board chairman of Hawaii Opera Theatre. Director and past president of the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council. A member of the Honolulu Committee on Foreign Relations. A member of the Complex Case Panel of Arbitrators, American Arbitration Association. Survived by wife, Margaret; sons, James Jr. and Stephen; daughter, Valierie Cureton; brother, Joseph; sister, Mary Hawkins; four grandchildren.
