Punaluu woman held in stabbing

A 22-year-old man was in guarded condition at The Queen's Medical Center last night after he apparently was stabbed during a fight with a 36 year-old Punaluu woman in a home in the 53-400 block of Kamehameha Highway at about 3 p.m., police said.

The man, bleeding heavily from a wound in the shoulder, was evacuated by helicopter.

Police said the couple had been drinking when a quarrel broke out. The woman was being held last night for investigation of attempted murder.
