• Mayor Jeremy Harris, 50th Annual Mayor's Memorial Day Ceremony at Punchbowl, 8:30 a.m. Civic Center parking lot shuttles from Hotel/Alapai bus lot every 15 minutes from 7:15 a.m.

• Honor the Ancestors, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., potluck lunch, Makua Beach Park, honoring Ivanhoe Naiwi, leader of the effort to stop live-fire training at Army training grounds in Makua Valley.

• USS Parche survivors ceremony at 11 a.m. at Submarine Base on Pearl Harbor.

• Schofield Barracks ceremony, post cemetery, 11:30 a.m., 25th Infantry Division (Light), Col. William R. Puttmann Jr., commander Army Garrison, Hawai'i.

• Gov. Ben Cayetano, State Veterans Cemetery in Kane'ohe, 1 p.m., with hula, chanting, band music and "missing man" fly-over by Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463.

• National Moment of Remembrance minute of silence, 3 p.m.

• Annual Memorial Day Service, keynote speaker, Hideto Kono, 9 a.m., Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin, 1727 Pali Highway, Nu'uanu. 536-7044.
