• LOCAL INTEREST: "Na Hoku Hanohano Awards," 7:30 p.m., KFVE. Sounds of the Islands are celebrated in the 24th annual event.

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," 7 p.m., ABC. This wraps up a rerun of the pop-music game, ranging from sweet Amy Grant to tough Gene Simmons of Kiss.

"DAG," 7:30 p.m., NBC. This loose comedy has some new episodes left. Tonight, Dag tries to keep his dad from finding out about his demotion.

"Braveheart" (1995), 6 p.m., USA Network; concludes Wednesday. Mel Gibson's Oscar-winner is split into two nights. The true story of a 13th-century Scottish rebel lacks a neat, movie-type ending. Gibson has directed beautifully, though, filling the screen with images and emotions.

"Egypt Beyond the Pyramids" conclusion, 6 p.m., History Channel. The first half of this documentary was fascinating; this second half is earnest and mundane. One hour views everyday life among the ancients; the other views death and mummification.

"The Geena Davis Show," 8:30 p.m., ABC. Another canceled comedy is resurrected for the summer. Tonight's rerun has Geena Davis and Peter Horton taking a class in ballroom dancing; the problem is that he's an awful dancer.
