MADD fun run/walk set for Nov. 18 downtown

The 16th annual MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Dash 5K fun run/walk is Nov. 18 in downtown Honolulu.

The event begins at 3 p.m. at the Skygate Sculpture and finishes at King and Alapai streets.

In addition to the fun run/walk, there will be live entertainment and activities.

The entry fee is $18 per person, if registered before Nov. 9. The late entry fee is $23 per person.

HUNTING SAFETY

Classes offered: The Hawai'i Department of Land and Natural Resources is offering free hunter education classes at the Nimitz Business Center on Nov. 16-17.

On Nov. 16, the class runs from 5:45 p.m.-10:15 p.m.

On Nov. 17 the class goes from 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
