CHESTER CONLEY CRUSH, 82, of Kamuela, Hawai'i, died Oct. 13, 2001. Born in Roanoke, Va. A retired Navy chief gunner's mate and Pearl Harbor survivor who served aboard the USS Maryland. Survived by son, Michael; daughter, Suzann Suguitan; brother, James; sisters, Judy Kohl, Betty Jo Blaisdell and Iris Kelly; six grandchildren. Private memorial service held. HAZEL HARDY ESPOSITO, 81, of Kane'ohe, died Nov. 2, 2001. Retired as housing manager with U.S. Navy CincPac. DR. FRED C. EVORA, 72, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Sept. 24, 2001. Born in Manila, Philippines. A retired physician and 25-year resident of Honolulu. Survived by wife, Lois; sons, Darryl and Gary; daughter, Suzanne Kochamba; sister, Elizabeth Valdez; brother, Jaime; six grandchildren. Service to be held in December.

KAY KIKUE FERREIRA, 81, of 'Aiea, died Oct. 28, 2001. Born in Pueo Camp, Kapa'a, Kaua'i. A custodian retired from Alvah A. Scott Elementary School, and a Hawaiian music singer and musician. Survived by sons, Melvin and Berton; stepdaughters, Sarah Tatemichi, Harriet Haasenritter and Annie Jackson; stepson, Wendell; 31 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Hatsuyo Fujinaga and Isayo Murata.
