Connie and Bret's big day arrives

For weeks, 'Ohana readers have been following the adventures of Connie Soga and Bret Moore as they planned their nuptials. Deborah Booker • The Honolulu Advertiser

That's what Connie Soga and Bret Moore, pictured here, were to say at their wedding yesterday at the Sheraton Waikiki in front of 300 guests. (The two posed for this photo just for fun a few weeks ago.)

Since March, 'Ohana section readers have been following Bret and Connie's wedding-planning adventures via a column they wrote periodically. The pair graciously allowed readers to learn from their stories, in which they revealed many of their anxieties, problems, triumphs and suggestions for saving money and reducing stress.

To let Connie and Bret enjoy those giddy, fleeting days surrounding their nuptials, they were encouraged to skip writing a column this week, but next week they'll come back one last time with their thoughts about their big day. The 'Ohana section sends them a heartfelt congratulations.
