Newlyweds

Namahana Lota, daughter of Abraham K. Lot III and Norgaard Ulu Lota of 'Aiea, and Christopher C. Tarr, son of Robin J. Tarr of Cardiff, Calif., and William W. Tarr of Del Mar, Calif., were married on Sept. 22 at Paradise Cove. The reception followed at the cove. The bride, now Namahana Tarr-Lota, has two children, Ana Lota-Viena, 12, and Blake Viena, 10. They live in 'Aiea.

Nitaya Luckanavonaporn, daughter of Chom Luckanavonaporn of Chiangmai, Thailand, and the late Taoluck Saeheng, and Mitchell Wung Keon Young, son of Robert and Marjorie Young of Kaimuki, were married on July 21 at Prince Royal's College in Chiangmai. A reception followed at the college. Another ceremony was held on Aug. 25 at the Community Church of Honolulu. Another reception followed at the church, as well as on Sept. 8 at Hanapepe United Church of Christ. The bride (1980 Prince Royal's College, 1985 Chiangmai University bachelor's, 1992 Chulalongkorn University master's), now Nitaya L. Young, formerly of Chiangmai, is an accounting lecturer. The groom (1979 Kalani High, 1983 University of Hawai'i bachelor's, 1989 Fuller Theological Seminary master's), formerly of Kaimuki, is a pastor. They live in Hanapepe.

Kathy M. Suzuki and Glen Y. Kitagawa were married on July 14 at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The reception followed at the resort. The bride (1990 Maui High, 1996 University of Hawai'i-Manoa bachelor's, 1999 UH-Manoa master's), now Kathy M. Suzuki-Kitagawa, is a special projects director. The groom graduated in 1989 from Baldwin High and in 1994 from UH-Manoa with a bachelor's degree. They live in Honolulu.

Engagements

Eric and Janet Crabbe of 'Aiea have announced the engagement of their daughter, Brenda Theresa Pi'ilani Crabbe, to Michael Joseph Jones, son of Robin and JoEllen Jones of Palm Springs, Calif., and Fred and Pam Shoemaker of Hesperus, Colo. Brenda Crabbe, of 'Aiea, is a medical social worker. Michael Jones, of 'Aiea, formerly of Palm Springs, is a senior crew chief/scaffolder. They plan to marry Nov. 11 in Waikiki.

Tricia Kaeo of Kane'ohe and John A. Mott of Mililani have announced their engagement. Kaeo, daughter of Lew and Ruth Kaeo of Kane'ohe, is an office manager. Mott, formerly of Pennsville, N.J., son of Hilda Mott of Pennsville, and the late John R. Mott, is in the Army. They plan to be wed on April 27 in Honolulu.
