Music awards show postponed
The Hawai'i Music Awards, originally set for Nov. 18 at the Waikiki Shell, has been rescheduled for Dec. 21 at a site to be determined.
Johnny Kai, award program organizer, said that negotiations are under way with officials at a Waikiki hotel where a dinner show and post-awards jam are among the planned options.
The award program, in its fifth year, is considered a people's choice competition, since public balloting is a factor in the results.
Entry deadline for awards competition was last August. Information: 951-6699.
