5 from Hawai'i among top pro prospects

Prospects Plus scouting service lists five Hawai'i high school seniors in its state-by-state lists of pro prospects.
Moloka'i High pitcher/first baseman Keahi Rawlins is ranked 126th in the service's top 300 players from the Class of 2002.
The other players are Moloka'i infielder/catcher Ikaika Lester, Iolani first baseman Kila Ka'aihue, Kamehameha outfielder Tyler Perkins and Kailua pitcher Kamaile Santos.

JV football: The O'ahu Interscholastic Association junior varsity semifinals will be held Saturday at Kahuku High.
Kapolei will play Roosevelt at 2 p.m. and Kahuku will play Kailua at 4 p.m.
Wrestling: DeAnna Lau and Mark Egesdal, 2001 Punahou graduates, were named to the academic All-America high school wrestling team, according to the National High School Coaches Association Web site.
Lau, the first female ever selected, had a 3.89 grade point average and scored 1,550 on her SAT, including a perfect 800 in math.
Egesdal had a 3.83 GPA and a 1,490 SAT score, including a perfect 800 in math.
