The day lives on in the minds of the men and women, soldiers and sailors who survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor 60 years ago this December.
The boys in the military who lived to tell about Dec. 7, 1941, are old men now and will be honored in Hawai'i by the National Park Service through a series of 60th anniversary programs and tours the week of Dec. 7.
Hawai'i residents, many of whom were young children that Sunday morning, remember too.
