Windward Unity to share Kailua Adventists' facility

By Zenaida Serrano Espanol

The Windward Unity Church congregation will have a new home in Kailua after gathering at Windward United Church of Christ for about two years.

Windward Unity will accommodate its growing numbers by sharing a facility with host church Kailua Seventh-day Adventist Church at 160 Mo'okua St.

The building is a newly remodeled 220-seat sanctuary, which Windward Unity officials hope will better serve their members.

Windward Unity has an average weekly service attendance of 115 members.

The first service at the new location will be on Nov. 18, at which time the church will begin offering two services for the first time: 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.

Windward Unity is a nondenominational church affiliated with the Unity School of Christianity, based in Lee's Summit, Mo. For information, call 254-6448.
