GOVERNMENT

• Federal offices: Closed.

• State offices: Closed.

• City, county offices: Closed.


SCHOOLS

• Public: Closed.

• University of Hawai'i: Offices and classes closed; Hamilton and Sinclair libraries closed.


PUBLIC SERVICES

• Libraries: Most closed today through Monday.

Open today, closed Tuesday: Waialua; Kailua in Kona on the Big Island; Kihei and Lahaina, Maui; Princeville, Kaua'i; and Lana'i.

•TheBus: Running on the timetable used for Saturdays. (Special rides to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific ceremonies tomorrow at Punchbowl, 9, 9:15 and 9:30 a.m., from Alapa'i Street express bus stops, mauka of King Street. Return trip after ceremonies. Regular fares.) Information: 848-5555.

• On-street parking: Free, except for Kalakaua Avenue metered stalls at Kapi'olani Park; holiday towaway zone parking as permitted by sign; meters in municipal lots must be fed.

• Traffic: No coning.

• Trash: Regular rubbish pickup.

• Landfills (Kalaheo & Waimanalo Gulch): Open.

• Open Markets: Not operating.

• Municipal golf courses: Open.

• Mail: Post offices closed; no regular residential or business delivery; regular (blue) collection box pickups; Express Mail delivered.

• Handi-Van: Available.

• Humane Society: Open, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Blood bank: Dillingham center open, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; downtown center closed.
