Tell us of your home Christmas exhibit

Advertiser Staff

These have been dark days, which means we may need Christmas lights more than ever.

As the holiday season looms, so does the prospect of dragging boxes of Christmas decorations from closets and laying them out for the world to see. Such home displays, featuring strings of lights, cartoon cutouts for the lawn and motorized figurines, have become a holiday tradition throughout the Islands.

The Advertiser each year publishes a guide listing many of these exhibits, enabling an organized circle-island tour of holiday lights. This year's guide will appear in the Island Life section.

If you plan a home lighting exhibit — especially if this is your first year — or you know someone who has, fill out the coupon below and get it to us by mail fax or e-mail. Please also add a note if you've altered your exhibit in light of the Sept. 11 attacks and the events since then — whether you've added messages or a patriotic theme to your display, or made other changes or additions.
