With Christmas only weeks away, it's time to start planning for holiday activities. "Breakfast With Santa," which also is a luncheon, will be held Dec. 15 in two seatings, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and from noon to 2 p.m. at the Japanese CulturalCenter's Manoa Grand Ballroom.

Besides Santa, a host of costumed characters will be on hand: Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Elmo, Barney, Bugs Bunny, Chuck E. Cheese and more. There will be clowns, magicians, games and a live stage show. The event benefits Prevent Child Abuse Hawai'i, and includes a breakfast or a lunch, plus a gift for children. Tickets: $18 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under, free for keiki 2 and under. Reservations: 591-3588.
