Celebrations

Ben and Kay Alcoran of Kane'ohe celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a surprise dinner given by their daughter, Tamila Ann Alcoran, on Oct. 13 at Parkway Recreation Center. The Alcorans were married on Oct. 14, 1961, in Ho-nolulu, and they have one daughter. He is a president of an insulation company.

Clayton and Bernice Pabingwit of Pearl City celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary with a dinner for two on Oct. 5 at John Dominis Restaurant. The Pabingwits were married on Oct. 5, 1991, in Ho-nolulu, and they have a son, Micah. Clayton Pabingwit is an air conditioning foreman. Bernice Pabingwit is an environmental engineer.

Christian Makanamaikalewa Rabago-Gomez of Waipahu celebrated his first birthday with a dinner given by his parents, Cherilyn Rabago and Shaun Paul Gomez, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fausto Rabago, on Sept. 8 at his home. Christian was born Sept. 8, 2000.
