Firefighters battle Kahuku brush fire

Firefighters today were battling a brush fire in a Kahuku farm lot off Marconi Road.

Two fire companies responded to the 6:39 a.m. fire call and drove to the scene about a mile west from The Links at Kuilima. The firefighters were still at the blaze about two hours later.

The brush fire was not threatening any property or roads at the moment, a fire official said. The cause of the brush fire was still under investigation.
