Kihei tennis courts to be repaired

KIHEI, Maui — Public tennis courts at Kalama Park in Kihei are closed for repairs and resurfacing through Nov. 27.

The Maui County Department of Parks and Recreation announced that tennis courts at three other sites also will undergo repairs over the next two months. The other sites are the Shigeto "Shigesh" Wakida courts in Lahaina, the two original tennis courts at the Kahului Community Center and the four courts and practice area at the War Memorial Complex.

Dates for those jobs were not announced, but the courts are expected to be closed for approximately two weeks while under repair.
