Andrea Wean had a match-high 20 kills, and Roberta Robert added 18 kills and 20 digs as No. 16 Hawai'i Pacific defeated Seattle Pacific, 26-30, 30-22, 30-22, 30-26, at the NCAA Division II Pacific Region Volleyball Championship last night at San Bernardino, Calif.

The Sea Warriors will play Cal State-San Bernardino in a semifinal today at 5:30 p.m. HST. The top-seeded Coyotes received a first-round bye yesterday.

"Once the girls got their blood flowing we found a good rhythm and executed much better," HPU coach Tita Ahuna said.

HPU, the defending national champion, improved to 19-4.
