POIPU BAY, Kauai — Tiger Woods won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf for a record fourth straight year, dominating a foursome made up of 2001 major champions today at the Poipu Bay Golf Course.

Woods, the reigning Masters champion, shot a 7-under-par 65 for the 36-hole tournament record low of 132 to earn $400,000. He won by three strokes over PGA Champion David Toms, who eagled the final hole for a round of 67 and a 135 total for the runner-up $250,000 prize.

Retief Goosen, the U.S. Open champion who led Woods by a stroke after the first round, finished third at 137, earning $200,000.

British Open champion David Duval, who along with Goosen and Toms also won his first major, closed with a 72—148 and was the event's highest-paid "spectator" with a $150,000 paycheck for his efforts.

The 65 by Woods tied the lowest tournament round at Poipu Bay.

"I get up for it," Woods said in explaining his successful run in the $1 million event. "It's a chance to play with guys who won the biggest tournaments in golf."
