• The sister of Robert Costello, newly appointed vice president for external affairs for the University of Hawai'i-Manoa, received her master's degree in social work from UH. Because of a reporter's error, her field of study was incorrect in a story on Saturday.

• Cha Thompson's phone number at Tihati Productions' is 735-0292. A story yesterday about funeral arrangements for Loyal Garner had an incorrect phone number.
