MARY DeMELLO, 86, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died Nov. 20, 2001. Born in Hilo. A homemaker. Survived by sons, Daniel, Manual and John; daughter, Barbara Crutchfield; sisters, Annie Pavao and Celestine "Sally" Deponte; brother, Frank Mattos; 15 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. JUDY KALUA'APANA FURTADO, 63, of Honolulu, died Nov. 15, 2001. Born in Honolulu. A school bus driver employed by the state. Survived by husband, Vincent; sons, Nelson, Benny and Antalia Ahina and Mitchell Furtado; daughters, Zilinda Entendencia and Zerelda Marasco; brothers, Antalia Kalani Jr. and Francis Santiago; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Scattering of ashes noon Dec. 1 at Kewalo Basin. Arrangements by Mililani Downtown Mortuary.

TULIMANU FALE ITUTAUA, 62, of Wai'anae, died Nov. 11, 2001. Born in Fagasa, American Samoa. Retired as a pipefitter for Koga Engineering Construction Co. Survived by wife, Punipuao; sons, Milo and Tiai; daughters, Noelle Fuimaono and Queenie Eliu; eight grandchildren; brother, Milo Fuimaono. Visitation 3:30-4 p.m. Sunday at Wai'anae Samoan United Church of Christ, service 4 p.m., followed by overnight vigil at the church. MABEL CHISATO KOGA, 87, of Hawai'i Kai, died Nov. 11, 2001. Born in Honolulu. In the restaurant business for many years. LESLIE F.H. MEDEIROS, 67, of Makakilo, died Nov. 10, 2001. Born in Pu'unene, Maui. Retired as a PBX repairman for Hawaiian Telephone Co. Survived by mother, Anna Peyton; sisters, Yvonne McDermott, Colleen "Tweet" Kela and Henrietta "Etta" Nobriga; daughters, Keahi Medeiros, Denise Morris and Terri Medeiros Rasado; son, Christopher; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
