Weddings

Sharie C.K. Lum Lee, daughter of Darrell W. Lum Lee Sr. of Mililani and Mr. and Mrs. Jared K. Komori of Honolulu, and James V. Souza Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark D. Gaines of Waimanalo and James V. Souza Sr. of Honolulu, were married April 29 at Ka Hale Ho'ano Hou 'O Ke Akua Chapel. The reception followed at Hale Koa Hotel. The bride (1996 Pearl City High), now Sharie C.K.L. Souza, is a paralegal and part-time student at University of Hawai'i-Manoa. The groom (1996 Castle High) is an auto mechanic trainee. They have a son, James Noah Souza III, 2, and they live in Honolulu.

Rayna Reiko Yogi, daughter of Tenney and Diane Yogi of Honolulu, and Peter Martinez Jr., son of Pedro Martinez of Guam and Nipapan Martinez of Honolulu, were married Aug. 4 at Sheraton Moana Surfrider. The reception followed at the hotel. The bride, now Rayna Reiko-Yogi Martinez, and the groom, formerly of Guam, have a son, Chase, 9, and they live in Honolulu.

Engagements

• Dayton and Diana Hong of Kailua, Hiram Mineshima of Honolulu, and Jaymie Huihui-Lono and Akoni Lono of Kailua have announced the engagement of their children, Leanne Sachiko Hong and Ezra Pekelo Sanzo Mineshima. Hong, of Kailua, is an executive secretary. Mineshima, of Kailua, is an electrician apprentice. They plan to be wed March 9 in Honolulu.

Raena Yoshie Hokulani Mizumoto and Robert Allan Chong have announced their engagement. Mizumoto, of 'Aiea, daughter of Clifford and Lynette Mizumoto of Pearl City, is a teacher. Chong, of 'Aiea, son of Cedric and Barbara Chong of Kane'ohe, is an environmental scientist. They plan to marry Feb. 10 in Honolulu.
