Apana to speak to nonprofits

WAIKAPU, Maui — Members of the Maui Non-Profit Directors will hear from Mayor James "Kimo" Apana at the group's annual Legislative Breakfast.

An awards presentation to key supporters in the public and private sectors also is planned for the Dec. 5 event, which starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Maui Tropical Plantation.

Maui Non-Profit Directors comprises top leaders in more than 40 nonprofit agencies serving Maui County.
