Evenly slicing a bell pepper, made easy

Here's how to cut a bell pepper and get the most even slices: Cut off the top and bottom. Reach inside and pull out most seeds. Slice down one side of the pepper and open it out flat, skin-side down. Slide a sharp knife along the inside of the pepper to remove ribs and remaining seeds. Slice as needed.
