BLOOD DONORS
• Blood Bank of Hawai'i donors should call 845-9966 on O'ahu or 800-372-9966.
• To make sure the military has a sufficient blood supply, "military-eligible" donors are urged to call Tripler Army Medical Center's blood donor center, 433-6195. Military-eligible donors include active duty military personnel and their dependents, retired military personnel and their dependents or Department of Defense employees.
DONATIONS
• The Radford National Honor Society, with the help of the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and Extreme Radio at 104.3, is sponsoring a Radford Rally for Relief this week. Throughout the week, students and faculty will have the opportunity to donate money to help the victims of the tragic events of Sept. 11. On Saturday, a 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. rally will be held in the front parking lot of the school, where students, parents, faculty and community members and businesses will have the opportunity to donate money to the American Red Cross. Radford clubs and the PTSO will sponsor concession stands.

• September 11th Fund, supported by The Hawai'i Community Foundation, Aloha United Way and community institutions. Donations can be made at American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawaii, Bank of the Orient, Central Pacific Bank, City Bank, Finance Factors, First Hawaiian Bank, Hawai'i National Bank, HomeStreet Bank, Honolulu City and County Employees Federal Credit Union and Territorial Savings. Donations also can be made at Foodland or Sack N Save stores, as well as Star Markets. • New York Fire Fighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund: Drop off checks at any O'ahu fire station 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. when the company is in quarters. Mail checks to the Hawai'i Fire Fighters Association, Local 1463 IAFF, AFL-CIO, 2305 S. Beretania St., Room 202, Honolulu, HI 96826.

• The Christine Snyder Tree Education Fund has been established by the Outdoor Circle for local environmentalist Christine Snyder, who was on United Flight 93. Contributions can be made by calling The Outdoor Circle at 593-0300.
• The family of Maile Hale, a 1993 Kaiser High School graduate who had been attending a conference at the World Trade Center, has set up a scholarship fund in her honor. The scholarship will go to the Williams College/Mystic Seaport maritime studies program. Send contributions to The Labaree Scholarship Endowment Fund, c/o Williams-Mystic, P.O. Box 6000, Mystic, CT 06355. The Rotary Club of Honolulu also is accepting donations in Hale's honor for the Children's Justice Center. • Lutheran Brotherhood's Hoaloha Branch will provide two-for-one matching funds to donations for the Suffolk SPCA, which a support entity for the more than 150 search and rescue dogs and their handlers assisting at the World Trade Center. Suffolk SPCA's Mobile Animal Hospital is providing veterinary care and support, and more information is available at www.suffolkspca.org. Donations through the Lutheran Brotherhood will be taken at a pet blessing on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Calvary by the Sea Lutheran Church, 5339 Kalaniana'ole Highway in 'Aina Haina; or to the Hoaloha Branch with a note on the memo line designating the Suffolk SPCA and mailed to Alice Noble, branch treasurer, 280 Alaeloa St., Honolulu, HI 96821-1021.
• A benefit with live entertainment and a silent auction for Hawai'i families of victims is planned Oct. 18 at Victoria Ward Centre. Tickets are available at Ticket Plus locations Charge by Phone: 526-4400, Blaisdell Arena Box Office, Ward Warehouse ticket booth, Ryan's Palomino and Kincaid's restaurants, and cost $25.
