Weekly honors

PETER EBANIZ

Kealakehe football

Senior running back had six carries for 206 yards, including touchdown runs of 25, 36, 60 and 81 yards in the Waveriders' 43-0 victory over Kea'au. In three BIIF games, Ebaniz has 489 yards on 29 carries for unbeaten Kealakehe.

INOKE FUNAKI

Kahuku football

Senior quarterback completed 10 of 19 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran eight times for 49 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Red Raiders to a 48-7 victory over previously unbeaten Kailua.

BRIANA MARINAS

Wai'anae volleyball

Senior outside hitter had six kills and three aces to help the Seariders beat Mililani, 15-8, 8-15, 15-8, then had 14 kills in a 15-4, 15-0 victory over Radford and eight kills in a 15-0, 15-12 victory over Waialua.

CHRIS MOLS

Roosevelt football

Senior quarterback completed 17 of 26 passes for 252 yards and one touchdown, and also ran for another touchdown to help the Rough Riders stay unbeaten in league play with a 30-6 victory over Nanakuli.

LIZ NARKON

St. Francis volleyball

Senior middle blocker/outside hitter had 13 kills in a 15-11, 15-2 victory over Sacred Hearts and eight kills to help the Troubadours beat St. Andrew's.

CALEB PAAKAULA

Wai'anae football

Senior quarterback completed 13 of 20 passes, with no interceptions, for 192 yards and one touchdown to lead the Seariders to a 17-0 victory over Kaimuki.

MATTHEW UELESE

McKinley volleyball

Senior outside hitter had 16 kills and two blocks to lead the Tigers to a 16-14, 15-6 victory over Kahuku, then had 10 kills and three blocks in a 15-8, 15-4 victory over Castle.

  • ADRIAN AGAN, Waimea — Senior quarterback passed for two touchdowns and also kicked a 31-yard field goal to help the Menehune remain unbeaten in the KIF with a 31-0 victory over Kapa'a.
  • GEROD MOCHIZUKI, Baldwin — Junior receiver/defensive back had a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to help the Bears beat King Kekaulike, 28-10. This came one week after his 100-yard interception return for a touchdown against Maui.
  • MULIVAI PULA, Kahuku — Senior running back caught four passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed 12 times for 47 yards to help the Red Raiders beat Kailua.

Bowling

  • RYAN CHANG, Pearl City — Bowled a 256 game and 625 series to lead the Chargers to a 3-0 victory over Mililani.
  • CORYN NARIKAWA, 'Aiea — Bowled a 259 game and 587 series to lead Na Ali'i to a 2-1 victory over Leilehua.
  • KELLEN SUMIDA, St. Louis — Bowled a 258 game and 616 series to lead the Crusaders to a 3-0 victory over Iolani.
