Big Island firm plans to expand

Big Island-based Aqua-search Inc. today announced plans to launch distribution of AstaFactor to 12 western states.

The company said Hawai'i sales of AstaFactor more than doubled in the past fiscal quarter. Astaxanthin is the subject of growing clinical research into treatment of ailments including joint and muscle soreness, carpal tunnel syndrome and macular degeneration.
