• A benefit with live entertainment and a silent auction for Hawai'i families of victims is planned Oct. 18 at Victoria Ward Centre. • An all-ages music benefit for the families and victims of Sept. 11 will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, from 4 to 11 p.m. at the Kona Brew Pub in downtown Kailua-Kona. Tickets are $10 per person. All funds will be donated to the New York City Firefighters 911 Disaster Relief Fund. The concert will feature an eclectic mix of bands from West Hawai'i and Hilo, including Redemption, Ruckus, the Neil Barnett Band, Moemoea, Dan-O, Living in Question, and the Redd Dirt Band.
