• The premiere episode of this season's "West Wing" aired last night. An Island Life story posted yesterday included an incorrect date.

• Employers who qualify for the Hawaii Medical Service Association's program aimed at helping financially struggling companies and members affected by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks do not have to request an allowance. HMSA will mail an allowance check to all employers who qualify later this month. The process was described incorrectly in a Business story posted yesterday.
