Family fun day moves to Capitol
Children and Youth Day has moved from Kaka'ako Waterfront Park to the Capitol district, but the theme remains the same: great fun and educational opportunities for the whole family. And it's all free. Among the offerings at the celebration 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday will be entertainment, tours, food booths, keiki activities and educational booths at the state Capitol, 'Iolani Palace and the downtown library.
The entertainment lineup, on stage at the 'ewa lawn of the Capitol:
- 10:20 a.m.: REACH dancers
- 11:05 a.m.: Greg Gabaylo, juggling and magic
- 11:25 a.m.: Traci Toguchi
- 11:40 a.m.: REACH dancers
- 11:55 a.m.: Ken Tatafu
- 12:10 p.m.: The Beaters
- 12:45 p.m.: Dance group
- 1 p.m.: Tani Lynn Fujimoto
- 1:20 p.m.: DisGuyz
- 1:50 p.m.: Hypersquad
- 2:10 p.m.: Forté
