Maze visitors can wander through the image of the late, great Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, which will be cut into the cornfields at Aloun Farms, Kapolei, Oct. 8-Nov. 25: 4-10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 4-11 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturdays and noon-5 p.m. Sundays. $8 for those 12 and older, $5 for youths 6 through 11, free for children 5 and younger. 677-9412.

CONCERT: Oct. 13

Stephen Bishop, left, will headline the Honolulu Music Fest 2001 at the Waikiki Shell. BRUNCH: Oct. 14

The Brunch on the Beach series, sponsored by the city and the Waikiki Improvement Association, featuring food booths, entertainment and camaraderie, continues on Kalakaua Avenue. The August affair drew an estimated 10,000 residents and visitors. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 14. Admission is free; scrip will be sold for food purchases, and scrip leftover from prior months can also be used. 523-4385.

CIRCUS: Oct. 17-21

Don't let the name of the act fool you. The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is of the human persuasion — 20 performers, ages 8 to 18, from Australia, to be exact. Seen in New York and in the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games, the show has been described as "a zesty blend of circus, dance, theater and tons of attitude." Shows 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17-19, 2 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 20, and 4 p.m. Oct. 21 at Hawai'i Theatre; the first night is a fund-raiser for the Susan G. Komen Hawai'i Race for the Cure, with all seats $25; all other nights $15-$45. 528-0506.

BALLET: Oct. 20

"Ballet Stars from San Francisco," featuring 11 principal dancers from the Bay Area troupe and Hawai'i's own Amanda Schull, who is a member of the corps de ballet, takes place at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. It's part of Ballet Hawaii's 25th anniversary celebration. 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20. $35-$55 (discounts for students, seniors and military; groups of 15 or more will receive at 10 percent discount); at the box office and Ticket Plus outlets. 526-4400.

TOURS: Oct. 21

The 14th annual Great Kitchen & Bath Tour offers viewers a peek at the latest trends as homes are showcased in Waikiki, Nu'uanu, Kahala, Portlock, Hawai'i Kai and Kailua. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 21. The Cypress Hill Smoke-Out, a daylong festival of hard-charging music featuring the headliner, Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, Kottonmouth Kings and Guttermouth, takes over Kualoa Ranch. The Marley Family of reggae stars returns for a series of concerts Oct. 26 on O'ahu, Oct. 27 on the Big Island and Oct. 28 on Maui. Family members include Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Julian Marley and Stephen Marley; guest artists will include Bounty Killer, Capleton, Yami Bolo and Daddigan. Details:
