Top gymnast holds classes in Honolulu

Jeff Davis, a four-time, All-American gymnast, is leading classes in tumbling and acrobatics this weekend in Honolulu.

Classes for students, age 7 to advanced teenagers, will be held starting today through Saturday at the Movement Center, a nonprofit performing arts school in Kaimuki. A special class for acrobatics teachers is set for Saturday afternoon.

Class costs range from $12 to $20. Each class is limited to 20.

Davis teaches stage acrobatics at the Juilliard School of Performing Arts, the American Ballet Theatre and the Sutton Gymnastics Academy in New York.
