IRMGARD FARDEN ALULI, who wrote fondly and sang endearingly of the Hawai'i and family she loved, died yesterday at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center. She was 89. See story.

Principal intake coordinator for Sand Island Substance Abuse Treatment Center whose ability to focus and calm distraught callers earned him the title "The Voice of Sand Island."
