Maui tourney tickets on sale

Tickets for the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational basketball tournament will go on sale to local residents at noon tomorrow.

The tournament, hosted by Chaminade University, will feature the nation's top-ranked team and two other consensus top 10 teams.

The field includes defending national champion and preseason No. 1 Duke, perennial powers Kansas and UCLA, along with Chaminade, Ball State, Houston, Seton Hall and South Carolina.

The tournament will be played Nov. 19-21 at the 2,400-seat Lahaina Civic Center in West Maui.

These on-island outlet sales are cash only, with no telephone orders or credit card sales. Limit two tickets per person.

A limited number of prime seats for all-day reserved (north grandstand) tickets at $60 per day and all-day general admission (east end bleacher) tickets at $40 per day will be available for purchase only on Maui at the following locations:

• Maui Tacos in Kihei's Kamaole Beach Center at 2411 S. Kihei Road.

• Maui Tacos in Napili's Napili Plaza at 5095 Napilihau Street.

• Hula Bowl Maui in Kahului's Maui Mall at 70 E. Kaahumanu Avenue.
