Walk to Cure Diabetes benefit scheduled for Nov. 3

The Walk to Cure Diabetes, a fund-raiser that benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, is Nov. 3 at 8 a.m. at Kapi'olani Park.
Check-in for the event will begin at 7 a.m.
The 2.5-mile walk begins and ends at the bandstand at Kapi'olani Park. Participants are asked to solicit pledges to benefit the foundation. All checks should be made payable to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

RODEO
All-girls rodeo: The Hawai'i Women's Rodeo Association will play host to an all-girls rodeo tomorrow at Kualoa Ranch from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Events include barrel racing, pole bending, daily team roping and wahine calf mugging.

Fun run/walk: The Friends of Kailua High School is sponsoring a 5K run/walk at 7 a.m. Nov. 4 at Kailua High School.
Registration is $29 before Oct. 29.
