TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE: "The Truman Show" (1998), 8 p.m., NBC. In an era of manipulated reality, this film about an insurance salesman whose entire life is a TV show, seems especially important. A TV whiz (Ed Harris) has created an alternative universe; everyone inside is an actor, except for Truman (Jim Carrey).
TONIGHT'S MIGHT-SEE: "Murder Among Friends," 8 p.m., Pax TV. Donnamarie Recco plays an actress who must help a detective (Greg Evigan) solve a crime in this film packed with flashy, youthful settings.
OF NOTE: "Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula" (2000), 7-9 p.m., USA Network. This story is hard to care about, but the filming is strong and stylish.
