Woman injured in apparent road rage shooting

A 22-year-old Palolo woman was shot and wounded late last night during an apparent road rage incident on eastbound H-1 near the Kalihi Overpass.

Police said a dispute broke out around 11:30 p.m. between the passengers of two sports utility vehicles. During the argument, one passenger pulled out a handgun and fired a shot, wounding the woman in the shoulder.

She was taken to Queen's Medical Center, and her condition was upgraded to fair today. No suspects were taken into custody today.
