A bird's eye view of Bruddah Iz

Too bad it's a view only birds and pilots get to enjoy: the likeness of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole cut into a 5.2-acre cornfield in Kapolei at Aloun Farm's annual fall corn maze. The image of the late musician surrounded by a rainbow, 'ukulele and rays of sunshine is made up of 2.17 miles of pathways. Open daily until Nov. 25. Admission is $8; $5 for ages 6 to 11 and free for children under 5. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Future Farmers of America organization here. Call 677-6412 or see www.cornfieldmaze.com.
