FRANK R. "BARNEY" HURLBUTT JR., M.D., 85, died Oct. 23, 2001. Born in Charleston, W. Va. An obstetrician and gynecologist retired from Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu. A professional pianist. U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II. Had been living in LIndsborg, Kan. Survived by sister, Carol; sister-in-law, Lillette; cousins, John and Jayne Bremyer; companion, Marty Hardy.
