• Architect GREG COGHILL, senior vice president and managing director of the Newport Beach, Calif., office of architectural firm, Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo, has been named chief operating officer of the firm, which also has offices in Honolulu, Orlando, Los Angeles, Seattle, London and Singapore. He will oversee WATG's architectural, planning, design and consulting services worldwide.

• LISA HALVORSON, former First Hawaiian Bank assistant vice president and public relations manager, has been named to the new position of director of customer relationship management with AIG Hawai'i Insurance Co. Halvorson is also past director of marketing and communications for Aloha United Way, and vice president at Communications-Pacific Inc.

• KATHLEEN T. KANO has been named senior vice president of commercial lines-client services, for locally owned Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. The 22-year industry veteran has also worked for Marsh USA Inc. and Hartford Insurance Co. Ltd.

• ERIC CARSON has been named to the board of directors for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Carson is president and chief executive officer of Reflections Glass Co., as well as owner of Diamon-Fusion Hawai'i, a molecular coating company, and WrightBuy.Com. The USHCC represents 250 Hispanic chambers of commerce, and the 1.4 million Hispanic businesses in the United States and Puerto Rico.

• DEW-ANNE LANGCAON has been promoted to chief operating officer of Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children, continuing the existing executive role of vice president of finance and hospital operations for Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi, the Kapi'olani Health Research Institute and Kapi'olani Medical Specialists.

• JENNIFER LUM-OTA, co-founder and partner with GEORGE BERISH of the Honolulu office of Buck Consultants, has replaced Berish as manager of the office as he begins phased retirement.

• WESLEY T. PARK, dean emeritus of the College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa, and RONALD N.S. HO, president of Ronald N.S. Ho and Associates, have been elected to three-year terms on the 20-member board of directors for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific.

• The affiliated REHAB Foundation elected board members to three-year terms: Gloria J. Kosasa Gainsley, a Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children pharmacist, and JOHN T. KOMEIJI, senior partner with the law firm of Watanabe, Ing and Kawashima.

• ROBERT K.Y. LEE has joined the professional land surveying firm Towill, Shigeoka & Associates Inc.

• DEBBIE KIM MORIKAWA has joined vocational rehabilitation and adult day services provider Lanakila Rehabilitation Center Inc. as vice president of programs. Morikawa was most recently a management consultant, specializing in organizational development, human resources and special project.
